This Family Archive contains the texts of twenty-seven volumes of Pennsylvania probate record abstracts originally published by Family Line Publications. Information in this Family Archive dates back to when the Pennsylvania General Assembly first required that wills and letters of administration be recorded. The abstracts contain family history information on more than 250,000 individuals and were compiled from nine Pennsylvania counties: Berks, Bucks, Chester, Cumberland, Delaware, Lancaster, Montgomery, Philadelphia, and York. These historical volumes would cost more than $600 when purchased separately as books, but you can purchase them all together on this CD-ROM for just a fraction of that price.

This CD contains all three volumes of Pennsylvania German Church Records originally published by Genealogical Publishing Company. The volumes include all the church records ever published in the Proceedings and Addresses of the Pennsylvania German Society. The records, which include births, baptisms, marriages, and burials, identify people and their relationships to one another--not only parents and children, husbands and wives, but witnesses and sponsors as well. The records mention approximately 91,000 individuals and are indispensable to anyone interested in Pennsylvania-German origins. Passenger lists are important primary sources of arrival data for the vast majority of immigrants to the United States in the nineteenth century. The information collected here was taken from the National Archives Microfilm Series M425, Passenger Lists of Vessels Arriving at Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, 1800-1882. This microfilm series consists of difficult to locate baggage lists from 1800 through 1819 as well as original passenger lists from 1820 through 1882. While the entire series spans 108 rolls, this Family Archive covers rolls 1 through 71. Indexed and searchable by key word, it includes approximately 180,000 individuals who arrived in Philadelphia between January 1, 1800 and December 23, 1850.
